The rooms were not only nice, but they even personalized it by writing our names on one side of the bed! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease during our stay. They had several blackboards with amazing suggestions for activities in the area, ensuring we never ran out of things to do. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, and always ready to assist. The continental breakfast provided was delicious, and the central gathering area was EXCELLENT. The rooms were clean and cozy, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the city center and the waterfront. The double room with its own bathroom was spacious, modern, and had a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the free breakfast included with our stay, which was of high quality. The on-site facilities, such as wi-fi, shared kitchen, laundry, snack bar. The range of activities available, including hiking, cycling, canoeing, snorkeling, diving. The availability of amenities such as sun loungers, beach umbrellas, board games, and luggage storage added convenience to our stay. The 24-hour reception and security provided peace of mind, and the enforced no smoking policy created a clean and pleasant environment.

The honesty bar and the lecture room were just great! We loved the swimming pool where we relaxed in the sun with the staff and other people. My first hostel experience and it couldn't have been better. The Big - Luxury Backpackers was the perfect choice. The staff was amazing, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dorm room was clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. The shower and bed were fantastic. The hostel attracts a diverse group of travelers, creating great vibes. Not a party hostel, so you get a good night's sleep. They also offer various activities to explore the city and beyond.

The water pressure in the bathroom was low, which may have been due to water shortages in the city during our stay. the bed linens provided were not suitable for the double bed we requested, as they were intended for two single beds.

The location was unbeatable, with the V&A waterfront just a few minutes' walk away, offering a great selection of shops, restaurants.

There was an issue with the hotel regarding an airport pick-up that was not requested, and the hotel did not apologize or compensate for the inconvenience. The staff and managers were unhelpful and blamed the guests for the mistake, even criticizing them for paying the taxi driver.
